How do I begin?

Rain, rain go away. Little Louis wants to play!

Maybe.

Actually this rain is turning out to be more serious than just a heavy rainstorm.

Seven inches of rain alone yesterday. Actually 6.9. A lot! Enough to close the Key West Airport for three hours. The taxiways were flooded. The word is the Airport will be closed some parts of today. Most flights have already been cancelled.

There are always irresponsible people. In between the showers, some are at the beaches in the water. Signs have been erected warning of rip tides. Rip tides are not common in Key West waters.

More than 10 inches of water has dropped on the area since the storm started over the weekend.

The rain is from a front that cane up from the southeast out of the Atlantic. The front is stalled over the keys. The projection is the storm will be with us through wednesday. Then it will head north to the mid-Atlantic states and then the northeast.

This morning seems better already. The flooded street in front of my home is bare of water. Lisa tells me so too is her street. The sky is a mixture of white and light gray clouds. Not the dark gray ones of the past few days. There is very little wind, though the water is still moving at a good clip.

My sense is the worst is over. It may rain today, but not badly. The front has decided to move on.

I even had a beautifully dramatic sunsrise to view this morning. From my bed. I face to the east when sleeping and had opened the glass sliding doors during the evening. The sun rose between two banks of clouds. The one in front gray. The one in back white. The sun in between. A bright orange sun.

I stayed in yesterday. All day. Not bad. TV was working. I did tons of research. It was a good day.

Tonight, I am going out. La Trattoria opened a new restaurant on the beach. I have not been there yet. I continue to go to the old one. Tim and Debbie Reynolds and I are having dinner. We decided to try the new one.

Enjoy your day!

I don’t believe the rain we are getting!

It is still pouring! This is day 4.

I am not complaining. It is a pleasant experience. Different. Torrential rain for four consecutive days. And to continue for a few more.

There is a tropical front that came up from the southeast. Not considered a hurricane or anything like that. Just a lot of rain. Key West is presently sitting right in the middle of the front. So it is certain this rain will continue for 2-4 more days.

The front carries wind with it. About 20 miles per hour. Gusts us to 35.

The streets are flooded. Remember Key West sits at sea level. There is no place for the water to go. The street in front of my house looks impassable this morning for about 300 feet. I was concerned last night as I drove in that my car would flood. I do not worry about my home flooding since it is built up on a man made hill which rises eight feet above the road.

Lisa telephoned. She lives in the middle of Key West. She told me her street is running high. Her lawn totally covered. Water at stoop height. Her street floods easily. Ran 6 1/2 feet high during Wilma.

She is concerned about her car. Fearful the water will reach the interior. She also does not know how she is going to get Robrt and Ally to school. She is not even thinking that the water might creep into her house. Nor did I mention the possibility to her.

Lisa just telephoned. She has posted a picture of her home as it sits in the water this morning on Facebook. Take a look! Says it all! Lisa Malcom on FB.

So much for the rain. I think it is fun. Provides a break from our usually great sunny weather. I will probably stay home all day and read and write. I will be happy.

The Key West Citizen had an interesting editorial yesterday in the Sunday paper.

Little Deer Key is about 30 miles up the road. Little deer live there. That is why the island is so named.

The tiny deer also roam nearby Big Pine Key and No Name Key.

Tiny is tiny. About 27 inches shoulder high. Not fearful of humans. The deer gather in groups of 10-30. Cover the roads, especially just before dusk.

The editorial concerned the safety of the deer. This is their mating season. They are a bit excited. Especially the males. Extra care is warranted when driving.

The season is known as a rut or rutting one. Reproduction time. The male deer is a buck. The female a doe. The buck is raring to go. The females know it. They give off a special scent to attract the male.

There are fewer bucks than doe.

The rutting season lasts only 24 hours. The male has much to do in that time. He performs with multiple doe. Lucky him!

No problem if a doe is not rutted. This special mating seson returns in about four weeks.

It is going to be a lonely day confined to my home because of the weather. A human doe would be very welcome.

Enjoy your day!

The weather is static. Rain. More rain. And more rain on top of that rain!

Strange weather. No hurricane or tropical storm involved. Three consecutive days of rain is highly unusual.

The weather report is for heavy rain today and tomorrow. We may get a break Tuesday.

The wind is stronger this morning than yesterday. The white caps behind my home are higher this morning.

I finally figured out where the wind is coming from. The southeast. Whenever the wind comes from the south, guaranteed the wind will be strong and the rain heavy.

The rain dampens no one’s mood. My Lisa said it well in her Facebook comment this morning: “The sun is still shining in my world.”

I had two objectives last night. To observe Occupy Key West at Mallory Square and then watch the Alabama/Mississippi game at the Sports Page Bar.

I accomplished one of the two. Batting .500 not bad under the circumstances.

The weather was horrible. Ergo, I opted to skip Occupy Key West. Not an excuse. A fact. It was not in me to stand on the edge of the Gulf and get blown around by the wind and water.

I note from news accounts and Facebook this morning, that Occupy was a success. The participants walked Duval, did their thing at Mallory Square and protested in front of Bank of America. I was especially delighted to see the pictures of the Occupy group in front of the Bank of America building. I consider Bank of America the whore of whores! Take a look at their mortgage foreclosure portfolio and you will understand.

Two pictures on Facebook were especially moving. One was a poster picture of the Statue of Liberty crying. The other a former soldier dressed in uniform carrying a sign saying…..2nd Time I’ve Fought For My Country.

I had a terrific time at the Sports Page Bar. Great game! This is the third time I have watched Alabama this year. I continue to believe they are the best college football team I have ever seen. The LSU game in a few weeks is going to be exciting.

The Sports Page was packed. I was partying with Alabama alumni Jean and David, Shoe Girl Stephanie, and Mississippi alumnus Sean. We were later joined by Issac and Sarah.

Owner Patrick running around working. A warm amiable guy. Came over to shake hands. Kristen there, also. My waitress friend. We shook hands. I would rather have kissed her. She is a lovely person inside and out.

It was the game, pizza and drinks.

Afterwards, we swam (not really) over to the Chart Room. It was like 11 o’clock. Packed! Sat and chatted with my football group.

Got to talk a bit with Issac and Sarah. They are both from Minnesota. Married. In Key West till the end of December. Sarah is doing some kind of homeless study. Issac is a Minnesota state trooper. He took time off from work to be with his wife. An engaging couple. Enjoyable people.

Stephanie was her usual self. A vocal outspoken today woman. I believe she and I have a generational gap problem. I know her parents read this blog every day. Worry not! Ain’t no one going to take advantage of your daughter!

Sean advised that Katherine’s trip this weekend to Little Rock was a success. Katherine found and bought her wedding dress. Sean said he is going to wear Key West attire. Shorts and a collared polo shirt.

The word was out last night. First time I heard it. John Lucas is opening a sports bar at the old PTs. November 13th. Twenty seven TV sets.

John is the general manager at Hot Tin Roof. I mention him often. A gentleman. Knows how to run a restuarant. And……a Wisconsin grad. When I chatted with him at the Chart Room last night, he was quick to advise they are still ranked 4th nationally.

John owned three sports bars back in Minnesota from whence he came. He knows the business and, without question, will do well.

I had a good time last night. Glad I went out!

Enjoy your Sunday!

I was correct regarding yesterday’s weather. It was a questionable day. Gray all day. Overcast.

Rained during the night. Raining now. Still overcast. Two days in a row! A Key West record of sorts. The only time I can recall consecutive overcast days is during a hurricane. The days are all black, not gray. Stay that way for two or more days. Day and night are the same.

Strong wind this morning. White caps in the water. The wind is blowing in hard from the north.

Great internet show yesterday. The Key West Lou Legal Hour. It is easy for the show to be good. The world is full of crazy happpenings. I just report and discuss them.

Post show comments indicate advertising for dogs garnering the most interest.

Nestle is the world’s largest food company. Nestle makes Purina. Dog food. Nestle has prepared a TV commercial directed specifically at dogs. It is presently being tested in Australia.

The commericial contains high pitched tones. Those that a dog can hear, but not a human. The concept is the dog will be attracted to the commercial and bark. The master will become aware of what the dog wants and Purina will fly off the shelves.

We have come a long way!

Viewers are also starting to comment on the China segments.

Four weeks ago, I started doing one or two things about China. My thought was China is a world power and we should know more about them. I am realizing that China is not what we believe or suspect. The country consists of a dynamic, modern and rapidly forward moving society.

It turns out that China’s communism may be the ultimate form of capitalism. The government wants its people to have everything. To share in wealth and the amenities it brings. The people work hard. Everyone eats. China has a booming middle class and it continues to grow.

The comments have picked up. More interestingly, viewers also. I now have four Chinese viewers that I am aware of. All women. All from Bejing.

After the show, I did a quick visit with Lisa.

Then to my friday men’s luncheon at Salute’s. At one point we were treated to a lengthy and stimulating discourse involving Occupy New York and where ever else. Two luncheon friends went at it. One a die in the wool Democrat, the other a conservative Republican. Or so they seemed.

The discourse was terrific! As I sat listening, all I couild think of was this is the way it must be in Washingtgon. Both sides, sincere, knowledgable and factual. Where is the compromise? Where can there be compromise? How do the two sides come together?

It is going to take a Solomon to figure this one out.

The Chart Room last night.

Sheila there. She is back to work, though her knee is still bothering her. Sean in attendance also. Alone. Katherine was in Little Rock with her Mom and bridesmaids buying a wedding dress.

Heathners Galloway joined us. An attractive young lady. A bright smile. A distinct southern accent. She works at Ocean Key with Katherine.

Sean and Heathers were having a bite to eat afterwards at the Green Parrot. They were transporting themselves to the Green Parrot Key West style. Bicycles.

They were taking to go drinks with them. In plastic cups. I asked how they were going to carry them? Heathers told me both bikes have cup holders for such an occasion.

Emily was back bartending! A big deal! I missed her the week end before. She had a few days vacation time and took them.

Today is Occupy Key West day. Tonight at 5 at Mallory Square. I am going for a while to watch. Not participate. But, who knows. I just might grab a poster, jump on the stage and shout…..let’s go get ’em!

This evening is Alabama/Mississippi State football. Sean is a Miss State grad. Jean Thornton an Alabama one. Sheila, David and I are going to join the two of them and watch the game at the Sports Page Bar.

I have seen Alabama play twice this year. The finest college football team I have ever seen! Mississippi State is going to get killed! Sean and I agreed on that last night.

Enjoy your day!

A different morning.

I can hear the water. Wind blowing. Palm tree branches crackling. No moon. No stars.

Rain?

I recall one of my first visits to Key West 25 years ago. A sales lady in some store told me it never rained in Key West. I left the converftible top down later when I parked the car. The rain that came was like a monsoon. When I got back to the car, there was about three inches of water on the floor. Avis was nice about it.

Visited the hospital yesterday morning. Kept Lisa company. She had a test.

Afterward, I stopped at Publix to pick up a few things. I think subconsciously I never buy enough so I have to return. I love Publix!

There is a sadness to it, also. Prices! I took particular note yesterday of the cost of things. Everything seems to to $3, $5 or $10.  The bill runs up rapidly at the cash register no matter how little is purchased.

The cost of food is killer!

Then the price of gasoline. It has dropped here in Key West the past three weeks. About $.45 a gallon. Still too high however at $3.70.

How are families doing it?

Tim Reynolds spent some time with me in the afternoon. He is my new computer guru. He should be yours. He has been taking care of my two computers. Excellent knowledgable service. Reasonably priced. His telephone number is 305-394-7030.

The interesting thing about Tim is that he was one of Key West’s outstanding chefs till seven years ago. He burned out. He had been playing around with computers. Went into repair work big time.

He’s good.

Bocce last night.

I had not played in two weeks. It was exciting to be back. We won all three games. 16-5, 16-5 and 16-7. A big night! And it was a money match besides!

At the start of the evening, we were tied for third place in the league standings. I believe that now we may be alone in second.

There was a waterspout just before we started playing. There are always waterspouts in Key West. Everyone stands and gawks at them. Even me. I have always wondered what would happen if a water spout came over me. Would I still be able to gawk afterwards?

Key West residents are good people. The best! Truly one human family.

An example was last night at bocce. I have played neither bocce nor golf for two weeks. I have been feeling under the weather. I was overwhelmed by the number of people and their concern who came over to ask me how I felt, glad I was back, etc.

Sincere and genuine all.

It is differengt here. I do not remember it being this way in my other place and other life.

I have to move my butt this morning. The Key West Lou Legal Hour at 10 my time. Available for seeing and hearing world wide at http://www.konkbroadcasting.com/. The news has been heavy. My topics will tend to be on the lighter side this week. But real!

Enjoy your day!

Another good morning!

Same as yesterday and the days before. Quiet. Nothing moving. Moon big, round and bright. All of which means another great day weatherwise for Key West.

I walked again yesterday morning. Three days in a row. Good for me!

Did the hotel route again. I walked by the Atlantic and through the beaches and pools of two large hotels. The Sounthernmost complex and the Reach.

I mentioned yesterday that I enjoy walking hotel grounds and that the bikini clad ladies are a sight to behold. Martin BK (the other Marty) commented that such was the…..essence of Key West.

Right he is!

My research yesterday took me back to 1915 and St. Gilles prison in Brussels. The time World War I.   Edith Cavell, a British nurse and spy,  was executed by firing squad by the Germans. She had helped 200 British prisoners escape.

Bocce tonight! I am ready to play. Missed last week because of my health. Bocce balls are heavy and the sun brutal.

Tomorrow the Key West Lou Legal hour. Ten in the morning my time. Join me. The internet carries the show world wide. http://www.konkbroadcasting.com/.

Once again, a terrific show is planned. Another crazy week has passed providing fodder for great topics. Like burial with a bang, the Columbian women who just ended a two month sex strike, a Texan freed after 25 years in jail by DNA, squid and same sex, strikes and protests in China, China and super luxury yachts, pot brownies put three seniors in the hospital following a funeral service, advertising directed at dogs/not humans, Egypt and Christians, and the poor me cry on Wall Street by the bankers.

And more!

Listen in! Watch! You will not be disappointed!

Enjoy your day!

Good morning world!

This morning is the same as the past few. Calm. Quiet.

I saw a glint of light between the branches of the palm tree next to the pool. I looked around the palm tree. It was the moon. The palm tree had hidden it from me in recent mornings.

It was the doctor’s again yesterday. Doctors should sell stock in themselves. Senior citizens would get rich!

I needed to have blood drawn. I hate the process. When I was 21, I was about to get married. One of the requirements in New York State at that time was a blood test. To make sure you did not have a venereal disease. I passed out as I watched the nurse draw my blood. Fifty five years later, I still am squeemish when it is to be done. I make sure I am sitting and close my eyes.

Visited afterwards with Lisa. My baby. She is my baby. The youngest of my four children.

Then I walked! Two days in a row! Walked in the opposite direction from the day before. From Square One to the Atlantic. Down the concrete dock sitting in the water. Around the grounds of the Southermost Complex. Then crossed the street and did the Reach.

I enjoy walking hotel grounds. The bikini clad ladies are a sight to behold.

The cupboard was bare again. I grocery shopped. A pleasurable experience for me. Publix is friendly. I greet old friends and make new ones. I was pressing heads of lettice. A delightful woman came up to me and asked if I was trying to decide which head was best to buy. I said yes. She showed me. That is how friends are made!

I stayed home last night. Wanted to watch the Republican debate at 9. I could not find it on my TV. I have over 300 channels available to me, yet could not get the debate. A bummer.

Today is Wednesday. Golf day. I am going to skip again this week. I feel good. But I do not wish to test my stamina on the golf couse yet. Next week.

My research was interesting yesterday. It was 1885 and I was in Naples.

Enjoy your day!

This morning is the same as yesterday morning. Quiet. Absolutely no breeze. Nothing moving, including the water.

Yesterday turned out to be a beautiful day. Temperature some where in the 80s and no humidity. The evenings are best this time of year. Air conditioning not required. Sleep with the windows open.

My day yesterday started with an early morning visit to my internist. A regularly scheduled two month visit. I should have stayed home! She beat the hell out of me!

I have fallen backwards in just about every aspect of my health. She let me have it. Time to be  good again. Very good.

It is hard to change who you are.

Then a Lisa vist. Love her!

Following our visit, I walked! Duval from Square One to Mallory Square and back. Took 50 minutes because I was wearing crocs. I cannot deny that my doctor’s admonitions earlier had something to do with me walking yesterday.

I spent the rest of the day writing. When I mention writing, the term includes for me research also. Internet research.

Persons of note seem to be dying all at the same time. Yesterday, it was Roger Williams.

Williams was a pianist. The best! Popular tunes.

He came upon the musical scene in 1955. Autumn Leaves. Outstanding! To listen to, to dance to, to make love to. I was 19. She was 19. Her name was Terri Hoffman. I was at Manhattan College at the time. She at New Rochelle.

Terri was a day hop. She lived in Larchmont with her family and daily commuted to New Rochelle.

Terri and her family lived in a large apartment complex on the Boston Post Road. An apartment high up. Her Dad was an attorney working with a not for profit in New York. Terri had twin brothers. If my recollection is correct, they also were attorneys.

One evening, Terri and I were sitting about 500 feet from a country club in her home area. The club was located on the ocean near her home. We were sitting on some rocks by the water. There was a party at the nearby club. We could hear Autumn Leaves being played.

It was a night of passion for us. We necked. Period! Nothing more. Not even touching. This was more than 50 years ago and any more was unheard of.

Some evenings, Terri and I would dance in her living room to Autumn Leaves. Lights out. Her family gone.

I have thought of Terri periodically over the years. I have no idea what happened to her or where she is. Each time I think of her, Autumn Leaves is in the background.

Williams also is known for his piano renditions of Born Free, Impossible Dream, the Theme from Somewhere in Time, and Lara’s Theme from Dr. Zhivago. He was a heavy weight, for sure.

Again, all this remembering of Autumn Leaves and its related events took place more than 50 years ago. Another time. A different time. A time of carefree youth.

Enjoy your day.

I just took a walk onto my deck. It is still dark in Key West. Nothing is moving. Absolutely no breeze. The water a mirror. The sky full of bright stars.

What does it mean for our day? I am not sure. It could be the calm before a storm. Or, the indication of a great day to be.

I have television and a wirless connection! Finally! Last night.

Adam did it! He suceeded where Comcast would not venture.

It was a big job. Took part of Saturday and all day yesterday. Even had to drill through a 17 inch poured concrete wall. Whatever, it is done and I am thrilled!

I survived without a wired computetr since last Tuesday. The absence of TV turned out to be the real problem. A cultural shock of sorts! Especially for one living alone. The TV set becomes that other voice in the house.

Last night Don, Chris and I finally hooked up. These are two great people. From the Syracuse area. Syracuse fans. They are also fans of Key West. They have been visiting here 3-4 times a year for years.

We hooked up at the Chart Room. Sean and Kathnerine there. JJ bartending. We had a couple of drinks and a lot of laughs. Don and Chris knew Sean and Katherine from a previous trip.

Then the three of us had dinner at the Hot Tin Roof.

Three things are in the forefront of my mind from last evening involving Don and Chris.

While at the Chart Room, they asked if we were having a mosquito problem. No more than usual, I said. Don told me they were getting bit all over. That the bites itched, they were constantly scratching and that the bites would not go away. Show me, I said. Just as I thought. Fire ants!

Both were ignorant of fire ants. So JJ and I proceeded to give Don and Chris an education. They probably were bitten while lying by the pool at their hotel. Was there greenry growing nearby? Yes, right next to them.

We told them the bites last three weeks. Treatment is simple. The bites develop white heads. On a repetitive basis. The whiteheads have to be removed every other day with a dull knife or rough towel. Then rubbed vigorously with a cotton ball soaked in alcohol.

Initially, they did not believe us. I am sure they will start following the protocol today. Otherwise, it will be scratch, scratch, scratch.

While at the Chart Room, JJ received a telephone call. It was from the Chart Room in New Orleans. The bartender from there was calling. No connection between the two bars. Just some people in New Orleans who opted to telephone their named counterpart in Key West. We all had shots to toast each other simultaneously. Key West and New Orleans. Even exchanged cell phone pics.

Don and Chris spend much of their working time in China. One of their company’s key products involves solar panels. If I understand it correctly, the Chinese need what the company produces in order for the Chinese to manufacture solar panels. Solar energy is high on the list of present day Chinese endeavors.

Don is a friendly sort. He has made many friends in China. I asked if it was true that the Chinese were eating less dog meat because of the rising middle class that kept them as pets. Before responding to my inquiry, Don told me of a recent dinner party he had participated in in China.

Don does not eat Chinese delicacies which we frown upon. When others are dining on rat or dog or the like, he sticks to dumplings and rice.

This particular evening his friends set a dish before him. They said it was chicken. Don said it sort of looked like chicken. He started eating it. Almost tasted like chicken. Suddenly he came upon a line of small teeth like bones. This was no chicken!

It was snake!

His friends laughed. Don choked. It was dumplings and rice thereafter. Don said the snake was like a cut from the center or body of the snake. The next course was a soupy bowl containing heads and tails. Of snakes, of course.

As to the dogs, the Chinese still eat them big time. Dog meat is considered a delicacy, also.

It was a fun night!

The doctor this morning. My internest. I am anxious to see her. My blood pressure is under control. However,  I continue to have a fluid problem. Every 5 days or so ankles swell.

Enjoy your day!

Woke to brilliance this morning.

The weather is turning. Much less humidity. Comfortable evenings.

Last night it was 74 degrees. Cool for Key West! I was able to sleep without air conditioning.

I have large glass sliding doors in my bedroom. They open onto a large balcony. The ocean is a couple hundred feet beyond the balcony in that direction. Nothing but ocean as far as the eye can see running to the northeast.

I lay in bed for a while after waking. It was still dark. All of a sudden I saw this flash in the distance. And then more and more. For about a half hour. There was lightning way out on the ocean. So far that I heard no thunder. Huge and magnificent. Day light out there.

Beautiful. God like in quality. I expected to see His hand reach out.

Rained most of yesterday. Big wind. Till four. Then the sun came out, etc. I had dinner plans with Chris and Don last night. They were cancelled around three because of the weather. We should have waited. We are rescheduled for tonight.

Comcast continues to make me less than happy. Their customer service sucks. The conduit guy finally showed up yesterday afternoon. He was supposed to have been here Friday evening. As irrritated as I was, I must say he was a nice guy. Lars. From Sweden. Accent and all. Sent him away. Told him I had the problem under control. My people were working on it.

My people is Adam. Adam does little jobs around the property. I called him yesterday morning. He took a look and said no problem. I can fix it. No tearing up the driveway or anything like that.  He is doing the job. The rain prevented him from completeing the task yesterday.

I am confident Adam will succeed. If my confidence is misplaced, it will be Dish for me.

I visited Tammy at noon. A manicure. Tammy is a a very lovely Vietnamese woman. Typically short and thin. Thirty four. Looks nineteen. Rarely speaks. We have become friends and with me she is a chatterbox. She told me how poorly I have been looking. Haggard and tired. The last two weeks I look good again, she said. I know why. My blood pressure is under control. It was knocking the hell out of me.

No Chris and Don, so I had dinner with Lisa and the family. No better substitute.

My grandkids are a joy. Lisa says she and the kids were playing scrabble yesterday. The first word Robert made was Ally’s name. They both were so excited they hugged each other.

Two people died yesterday I would like to mention. Al Davis and Diane Cilento.

Al was the owner of the Oakland Raiders and a professional football leader. The sport owes much to him.

I met Al some 25 years ago. I was stuck at the Detroit airport with a long layover. There was this man sitting across from me. He looked strange. It was his hair. Davis is known for wearing his hair in a weird fashion. We started talking. He was stuck in Detroit for a long time, also. Turns out he was Al Davis! A nice guy. Friendly. Down to earth. We talked for a couple of hours as if old friends.

May he rest in peace.

The other was Diane Cilento. You may ask who was Diane Cilento. Everyone else has since I started mentioning her yesterday.

Diane was a movie actress. Started her career back in the 1950s. In the 1960s, she was nominated for an Academy Award for her performance in Tom Jones. During this time, she also married Sean Connery of James Bond fame.

She had a brother. Several. Four of whom were doctors. One settled in Utica. His first name escapes me so I shall refer to him as Dr. Cilento. After her marriage to Connery ended, Diane lived with her brother for a few years in Utica. She was a celebrity! Someone special. And treated as such.

I knew her primarily from social gatherings. Everyone invited her to everything. Not only did the men like Diane, the women did also. She had a rare quality.

I met her for the first time when I went to her brother’s office to prepare him to testify in a case. He was a neurosurgeon. He had treated my client. His office was in his home. A glorious huge red brick house.

As I sat alone in the waiting room, this dream from another world came flowing in. Mumus were just coming into vogue then and she was wearing a bright red one. We chatted a while as I waited for her brother. I knew not who Diane Cilento was, nor did she let on. We talked as if next door neighbors for years.

She ultimately settled in Australia where she was yesterday when she passed on.

May Diane rest in peace.

Enjoy your Sunday!
