The weather the last couple of days has been terrific. High 70s by day, high 60s by night.

Things changed a bit last night. It really got cold. I had to throw an extra blanket on the bed. No sleeping with the windows open.

It is extremely cold this morning. Wind blowing like hell. Temperature 63°. High today projected at 73°.

Ryno Masca, the Syracuse radio broadcaster, stated on Facebook this morning that it was 25° in Utica. Note that I am not complaining when I provide these weather levels. I appreciate it is much colder up north, especially in Utica. I am merely sharing. Nothing more.
Well, not exactly correct. Maybe sometimes I am complaining!
Speaking of weather, yesterday was the last day of hurricane season. We made it through another year!

Tomorrow my internet show. The Key West Lou Legal Hour. Available worldwide. http://www.konkbroadcasting.com/. 10 o’clock in the morning my time.

Join me. Tomorrow’s show promises to be interesting and exciting.

Some of the subjects to be covered include some things not yet discussed regarding pedophilia, the Catholic Church and new changes, Republican politics, an Atlanta man who won the million dollar lottery for the second time in three years, three bankers from Connecticut who won a $254 million lottery, some interesting twists regarding food, especially that as of November 18, 2011, horsemeat for human consumption is legal, Santa Claus and guns in Arizona, the Sheriff of the Year who now sits in jail in Denver, China and universal healthcare, and more.

Great stuff!

My day started yesterday with a manicure. I love Tammy! A great personality!

Then I had to do some grocery shopping. The cupboard was bare again. Everything seems to cost either $3, $5 or $10. I do not know how people do it. The cost of food has to be killing the pocketbooks of most families.

I did my column for Konk Life which comes out today. The topic is interesting. It has to do with a recent federal court case that permitted a Mexican flag to be flown in a California high school, but not the American flag.

Sloan and I worked for about two hours last night. It was all Dragon! Dragon is the software package that permits one to dictate rather than type when making computer entries. Guess what ? That is what I am doing now. I am dictating everything that you have read and will be reading. This is my first official run. I am a bit hesitant. I have made a few mistakes that can easily be cleaned up. The benefit is speed. Speak and it prints. The spelling is perfect. Punctuation perfect. I love it!

All of a sudden around dinnertime my computers and TV sets went down. I had no internet reception. Telephoned Comcast. The recorded message was to the effect that there was a problem and that it would be rectified at 10:26. I find it amazing that Comcast can predict to that particular minute that the problem will be resolved. Why 26? Why not 25 or 30 or whatever.

The computers and TV sets were back on around 10 o’clock.

I had planned on staying in last night. I did. It was difficult without a computer or television. Life is strange when you have neither. I read. I continue to read the book on Cheney. The book is called the Angler. Does not make Cheney look good.

Tonight Santa Claus!

The Christmas party for the children is at the Yacht Club. I will be there with Robert Ally. Lisa and Cory also, of course.

Robert and Ally are all excited. They still believe. Wonderful! I am sad to think that this may be their last year for believing.

That’s it folks! My first time doing this blog with Dragon. Exciting! I am like a kid with a new toy.

Enjoy your day!

  1. Much agree on the cable/internet providers. My company, Charter, continues to provide me heartburn. Is there any lawful way they could be held accountable?

    Enjoy your day!

  2. I only see one error using your new toy. The paragraph about the family going to see Santa is not puncuated correctly but other than that it seems good. What a marvel, it's kind of scary to think where all this technology is going.
