Specialized lunacy continues to prevail in the White House.

IRS audits are in place and legal to catch tax cheats.

A new move is underway to prevent the IRS from auditing Donald Trump and his family. The move would require the IRS to drop present tax audits of Trump and family, if any. The Justice Department will be prohibited from ongoing inquiries into their taxes, a move which would protect them from financial liability.

Stated simply, the government would be “FOREVER BARRED and PRECLUDED from prosecuting or pursuing tax claims” against Trump, his family members and businesses.

Tax experts claim the possibility exists that the provision is illegal. I don’t see it as a possibility. It appears to me to be blatantly illegal. Provides favoritism to one specified group of persons. Clearly audacious.
