Trump and his cohorts are misusing religion in the United States. Religion, God the Lord and God Jesus are being abused.
Trump has become a Jesus freak. As has Hegseth. Shocking! Anything to garner political support!
Tomorrow of special concern. A nine hour religious program. Purportedly to support the 250th Anniversary of the U.S. Three individuals headlining the program. Hegseth (would you believe), Rubio and Johnson. The event is titled “Rededicate 250: A National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise and Thanksgiving.”
I wrote about the program in detail in yesterday’s blog. Its purpose is to bring us back to the religious dedication of our Founding Fathers. The thought being the George Washingtons, Thomas Jeffersons, James Madisons and Benjamin Franklins of yesteryear made religion an integral part of our government. Nothing could be farther from the truth. They were opposed to the blending of religion and government. They were strongly in favor of separation of church and state.
Trump and his administration would have us think otherwise: Bullshit the American public…..they won’t know the difference…..they don’t know American history.
On the other hand, there does seem to be a trend presently in the U.S. for Christians to boldly stand for Jesus in every corner of American life. Nothing unhealthy about that. We need Jesus, especially the way Trump is beating the living daylights out of the American people. Americans are increasingly uncomfortable and fearful. A different feeling/viewpoint from that which motivates Trump, Hegseth, etc.
I am concerned.
I try to quote someone every day. The quotes generally favorable. Point in the right direction. Every now and then one will pop up that is contrary. Like the following by Donald Trump: “I don’t think about America’s financial situation.”
Trump doesn’t buy gasoline nor grocery shop. He cannot suffer from these “abuses” if he does not experience them.
Trump seems to have given Xi and China a new found status. I expect Trump to next sell out Taiwan. A whore he never ceases to be.
To other things.

Kamala Harris working hard in her campaign to acquire the Democratic nomination for President in 2028. She is receiving excellent accolades. Fortunately, male or female does not bother me. However, I do not believe the U.S. is ready to accept a female as President yet.

Yesterday morning a bit busy. Banking, shopping, running errands. My intent was to go to the movies in the afternoon. I am anxious to see Prada 2. Never made it. Fell asleep instead.
Enjoy your day!
