As a result, Italy is prepared to pull its macaroni business out of the U.S. in January. The macaroni tariffs are among the largest faced by any product targeted by the Trump administration.

Dr. Mary Edwards was the first and is still the only woman to receive the Medal of Honor. She was a Union surgeon during the Civil War, captured and held prisoner by the Confederates.
Her Medal of Honor was revoked in 1917 during a review that affected many recipients. Edwards refused to return the Medal and wore it every day the rest of her life. In 1977, President Jimmy Carter restored the Medal of Honor in her name.
