My father died this morning. He was 98.
He had a good life. He was a good father, husband and person. A family man.
I feel empty.

I am so so sorry to hear of your loss. I feel your pain. It will be three years, 5/25, that my Dad passed away. I miss him every day.. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

So sorry Lou, I lost my dad when I was 14 and he was only 47 at the time. I know it’s small comfort right now but as you said, he had a long life. Best wishes, your loyal readers have you in our thoughts.

Just found the info about your father’s passing. I always found him to be kind, cheerful and companionable. You were so lucky to have him for so long in your life. I believe the genes are in your favor to live a long and happy life too….Ann
