Happy New Year!
I can remember as a young boy my parents and their brothers and sisters celebrating the new year. That would be in the late 1930s. Time certainly flies! And I obviously have gotten a lot older!
I started the day yesterday playing golf. With Yankee Jack. I played my best round in a year! I hope it is an omen of things to come.
I brought in the New Year at the Keys piano bar.
Friends Terri and Donna were both working. Terri singing and Donna working the door. So I sat at the end of the bar, chatted with them and observed the festivities. I arrived at 10 and left soon after midnight. I was not in a celebrating mood.
I brought home some hats and horns which I shall deliver to my grandkids later this morning. Tonight is Vera Schiff’s party at Square One. Should be outstanding!
Again, I wish you all a happy and prosperous New Year!
